This is one of those very cute toys that every Batman and lego fan should have in their collection. All the gadgets and gear that come with it is just awesome. My particular favorite are the "wings" on the back, like the Batmobile. Very, very cute, cool, and just plain awesome. Plus, it's quite unusual. You just don't see the Batboat very often so I thought it was just a neat thing to add to our collection. It was built rather quickly by a seven-year-old in this house and is loved a ton. It is hard to keep it together in play, the "wings" in particular like to fall off but other than that, it's just a bunch of fun. Highly, highly recommend!

My 7 year old Bionicle fan received Malum for his birthday, and thought he was really cool. What Bionicle isn't? Pretty standard Bionicle construction with mostly pieces we've seen before (other than the weapons, which I think are new for 2009).br /br /Pros:br /Great red and yellow color scheme with many bi-color piecesbr /Really sturdy construction... way less tippy than many of our older guysbr /Two cool fire claws, and a great shooting weapon that works easily wellbr /br /Cons:br /Shooter only comes with one round of ammo. I can foresee constant pleas for help finding it and tears when I can't.

The LEGO sets I was always collecting were the castle sets, which I would combine to make not only bigger castles but more realistic castles. I have also been to the Mall of America were the LEGO store has wonderful displays of what you can do with thousands and thousands of LEGO blocks. It is in that spirit that LEGO has come up with the LEGO Sopwith Camel. This is not your traditional LEGO product; there are less pieces than you would think because they are so many bigger pieces. This is not a LEGO product (like their train set for e.g.) where you can let creativity reign. You pretty much have to make the Sopwith Camel and it is a pretty good looking Sopwith Camel for one made out of LEGOs, which means it will appeal more to the LEGO fan than the student of World War I aviation.

This is a fairly small set, not much for building with; but don't get me wrong, this is a great set.br /You get two minifigs and horses (a good crown knight and an evil skeleton) and a good handful of weapons and things. That alone is worth buying the set for! Plus there are some cool gold pieces, some flags. I was pretty pleased with this one.
