We have resisted buying these because they seemed so cheap...also the usual question we parents always ask ourselves..."What are they going to do with them?" br /br /Our son received his first bionicle from a friend on his ninth birthday...it was cleverly the "bow" on a birthday present. I now regret overlooking this wonderful line of "lego's" for so long! My boys love these! They have the best time building them and an even better time playing with them. br /br /They are priced reasonably so you can always pick-up one as a treat during trips out "shopping". If you encourage your children to "save-up" for some of their "wants", the cost of these is low enough that it doesn't take them months and months to realize their goal. br /br /Please do not make the same mistake I made and misjudge these toys. You will be denying your child a great experience. br /Although the manufacturer suggests ages 7 and up, I do not feel a child younger than 8 or 9 would be able to indendently put this toy together. My 7 year old needs some help putting these together, but he loves to try all by himself. That is the point of Lego's, to construct and play. The primary benefit, in my opinion, is the satisfaction of "doing it" yourself! br /br /A definate A+ for our boys! br /Rosemarybr /

This Lego set may be small, but I think it's great. The two minifigs in this package are very cool, new characters. Thier suits of armor are well designed and colorful. Also included is a horse with armor of his own, and a catapult. Not alot of bricks in this set, and there isn't as much to be creative with as with larger lego sets, but this is still a great set. I really love this new Knight's Kingdom system and look forward to getting some of the larger sets. This set is an excellent intro to the new Knight's Kingdom line.

LEGO Atlantis Wreck Raider (8057)

If you have an experienced Lego person in your house, this will take about 10 minutes to assemble. If you have a child engineer instead, it will take about an hour, after they figure out and explore all the working parts! We have the latter and if those boys at Lego don't have fun at their jobs, I'd be quite surprised! All the neat moving parts on this guy are outstanding. Plus, it looks like a tractor when it's done so it looks pretty neat with the City series too because you can turn it into an International tractor without much trouble. The shark minifigure, however, is the house favorite. The expression on his face is just hysterical and the adults just love playing with him! Great, great toy, highly recommend!

LEGO Turbo Tow 8195

My son wanted this Lego to add to another Lego he already had (#8190 I believe). The fun thing about the Lego Racers is that two of them can be combined to make one larger vehicle. Half of the directions come in one box and the other half come in the other box. The plastic pieces are strong; however, I'm finding that many of the Lego pieces fall off easily and/or don't stay together. This is mostly on some of the larger Lego sets, not necessarily on this one (which is why I gave durability three stars). Regardless, my son enjoyed this.
