My 5 year old grandson and I have become Lego enthusist over the past year or so. When I discovered a this train set that was battery operated with whistles and such, I knew I had to buy it for him. The train set instructions were easy to follow, though he and I built it together (I held the instruction book and he did the rest) he learned how to follow directions. The kit is huge, for the cost it was worth it. The set not only comes with the 5 rail cars but with tracks that switch, a forklift, a flatbed truck, a crane that really operators on a rail car, and a sports car to load on the flat bed truck. There are also several mini figures to play with. I guess one of the draw backs is the track set is very small. It has the oval shape as most trains sets with a little extra for the switch back. I ordered more tracks to make it bigger. br /br /I was worried at first because it was a lego set, the parts would fall off or not stay well, but amazingly it stays together rather well. Of course we have our occasional OOPS, but being Lego's we can easily put it back together and go on. br /br /Enjoy!!!!br /br /
